The DTAZV will be replaced from November 2026: What corporates (and, above all, SAP customers) need to do now

From November 2026, banks will no longer accept traditional DTAZV files and will instead require ISO 20022 version 2019. SEPA formats must also be migrated to pain.001.001.09 (credit transfers) and pain.008.001.08 (direct debits). Anyone who fails to convert their formats in good time, particularly in the SAP environment, risks payment rejections and, in extreme cases, insolvency.
